Technology-driven, integrated CDMO, Adare Pharma Solutions, and Swedish life science company, OnDosis AB, have announced, in a Sept. 30, 2026 press release, that they have entered into a strategic collaboration. The partnership is aimed at the advancement of OnDosis’ lead program for the U.S. — an extended-release oral pellet product containing mixed amphetamine sales, developed for the treatment of ADHD and delivered through OnDosis’ Dosage Manager platform to enable individualized dosing (1).

Under the terms of the collaboration, OnDosis’ precision-dosing device technology will be combined with Adare’s end-to-end oral solid dosage form manufacturing capabilities — including experience with controlled-substance formulations — to support the lead program’s development for the U.S. market. Additionally, Adare has plans to make the innovative offering available to other clients working with different indications, which will enable a new and better precision dosing technology that can serve more patients across multiple markets.

“We are truly excited to take this important step and establish a commercial-scale manufacturing capability on U.S. soil through this strategic partnership with Adare,” said Martin Olovsson, CEO and co-founder, OnDosis, in an Adare Pharma Solutions’ press release about the collaboration (1). “The Adare team have showed great spirit, capabilities, and drive to support OnDosis in the final steps to pivotal bioequivalence (BE) studies and subsequent 505(b)(2) submission for our lead product Imfocy, aimed at improving outcomes for patients treated for ADHD.”

“This program is a very innovative delivery solution that’s very much needed to serve diverse patient dosing requirements,” commented Tom Sellig, CEO, Adare Pharma Solutions, in the press release (1).“Adare is dedicated to helping develop better treatments with expert application of advanced client-centric drug delivery technologies and we are honored to apply these skills to help OnDosis advance this program to patients as well as to bring this technology to other clients whose programs need better precision and flexibility for their patients.”

In a recent white paper, OnDosis reviewed literature on individualized dose optimization in the treatment of ADHD. Based on the research, it was found that while dose titration and optimization are clinically important in stimulant treatment for ADHD, they are not consistently implemented in routine care, leading to non-adherence or discontinuance of treatment (2).

The conclusions drawn from the research highlighted the importance of dose optimization in stimulant-treated ADHD and the potential value of treatment solutions that can facilitate such optimization in routine care for these patients (2).
