About us
The Pharma Navigator is operated by Navigator Media Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 15251347. Our registered office is The Steam Mill, Steam Mill Street, Chester, Cheshire, CH3 5AN, United Kingdom. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Navigator Media Ltd.

Our services
The Pharma Navigator provides news and information for people working in or interested in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Our website content, accounts and newsletters are free. Some features or resources may require registration. Creating an account does not create a paid subscription or authorise charges.
Advertising, sponsorship and other commercial services are governed by separate agreements. These website terms do not replace those agreements. Where a specific agreement conflicts with these terms, it takes priority for the service it covers.
Accounts and newsletters
Please provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. Use an email address you are authorised to use and keep your password confidential. Do not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account to bypass access controls.
Tell us promptly if you suspect your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for your own use of the account and for taking reasonable steps to protect it; this does not make you responsible for security failures outside your control.
You can ask us to close your account by emailing news@thepharmanavigator.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in our emails. These are separate choices, so please tell us if you want both.
Marketing subscriptions are optional and are governed by your choices. Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to marketing. We may send account or security messages needed to provide the service.
Using our content
The website and its content are protected by copyright, trade marks and other intellectual property rights. Those rights belong to us, our contributors or our licensors.
You may read, view and listen to content, share links, and download or print reasonable extracts for your own personal use or internal professional reference. Keep authorship, copyright and source notices intact, and do not alter material in a misleading way.
Unless we give permission or the law allows it, you must not reproduce or distribute substantial parts of the website, republish our content, sell access to it, build a competing content database from it, or use our branding in a way that suggests our endorsement.
For republication, syndication, commercial reuse or other permissions, contact news@thepharmanavigator.com. Nothing in these terms limits lawful quotation, fair dealing or another statutory exception.
Acceptable use
You must use the website lawfully. You must not:
- Impersonate another person or provide information you are not authorised to use.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, disrupt the website or attempt unauthorised access to accounts, servers or systems.
- Bypass security measures or access restrictions.
- Use automated tools in a way that overloads the service or extracts protected content without permission, except where permitted by law.
- Harvest personal information for unsolicited communications or other unlawful purposes.
- Infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or use the service for fraudulent activity.
Ordinary search engine indexing and uses expressly permitted by us remain allowed, subject to applicable technical instructions.
Editorial content and professional advice
Our content provides general industry information. It is not personalised medical, clinical, scientific, regulatory, legal, financial or investment advice, and is not a recommendation to prescribe, buy or use a particular product or service.
Pharmaceutical research, product approvals and regulatory requirements change. Check original sources, relevant jurisdictions and current guidance, and obtain appropriate professional advice before making decisions. References to investigational products or developments do not mean they are approved, available or suitable for any particular use.
We take reasonable care in preparing content, but we do not guarantee that every item is complete, current or free from error. Opinions belong to the authors identified and may not represent our views. Historical articles may remain available as part of our archive.
To report an error or raise an editorial concern, contact editorial@thepharmanavigator.com and include a link to the relevant item.
Advertising and sponsored content
The website and our newsletters may contain advertisements, sponsored content and resources supplied by third parties. We identify paid promotional material as advertising or sponsored content, as appropriate.
An advertisement, reference or link does not by itself mean that we endorse the organisation, product or claims concerned. Any purchase or arrangement you make with an advertiser or sponsor is governed by your agreement with that organisation. This does not exclude responsibilities that the law places on us for material we publish.
Requests for sponsored resources or participation in partner activities may involve additional notices or terms, which will be explained at the point of collection or registration.
External websites and events
Links, embedded media and event listings may direct you to services operated by others. Those providers control their own content, availability and terms. Review their terms and privacy information before using their services or providing personal information.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, an event listing does not mean that we organise, sell tickets for or guarantee the event. Check dates, locations, access requirements, fees and cancellation arrangements with the organiser before making plans.
You may link to our publicly available pages fairly and lawfully. Do not suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist, misrepresent the source, or frame our content in a way that hides our identity.
Editorial submissions
If you send us a press release, article, image or other material for possible publication, you must have the rights and permissions needed to share it. Please identify confidential or embargoed information clearly before supplying it and agree any confidentiality or embargo arrangements with us in advance.
You retain ownership of your material. Sending material expressly for publication permits us to review it for that purpose. We will use submissions in accordance with the publication permission you provide and any agreed restrictions. Separate contributor agreements may set out publication rights and editorial approval arrangements. Press releases and associated publicity material will be handled according to their stated distribution terms and any agreed restrictions.
We may decline a submission and do not guarantee publication, timing or placement. These terms do not give us a general right to publish private correspondence sent for another purpose.
Availability and account restrictions
We may update, correct or remove content and change website features. Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical issues or reasons outside our reasonable control.
We may restrict access or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these terms, protect users or systems, or comply with the law. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for security or serious misuse. Contact us if you believe a restriction was applied in error.
If we discontinue the account service, we will give reasonable notice where practicable. Closing or suspending an account does not affect rights or responsibilities that have already arisen.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If you use the website for business purposes, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website. Any exclusion applies only to the extent that it is lawful and reasonable.
If you use the website as a consumer, we remain responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information and how you can exercise your rights. Our cookie information explains the technologies used on the website and your choices. These notices do not make optional data processing a condition of accepting these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the website or the law. We will publish the updated version with a new date and give account holders reasonable notice of material changes where practicable. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights that have already arisen. Where renewed agreement is required, we will ask for it.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you use the website for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.
If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence or any right you have to bring proceedings in your local courts.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as legally possible. Please contact news@thepharmanavigator.com if you have a question or concern about these terms.
